When your plans change

Selling Your Ticket

If you can no longer go to an event, you may be able to sell your tickets to another fan straight from your Ticketmaster account.

  • Sign in to your Ticketmaster Account.
  • Find the ticket/s you no longer need.
  • Hit ‘Sell’.
  • Set the price (no more than you originally paid + fees).
  • Confirm.

And that’s it. Your tickets will then be listed directly on Ticketmaster for other fans to purchase – you’ll also be provided a link to your listing to share with friends or on social media. When your tickets sell, you’ll be paid via your selected method of payment typically within 17 days.

Selling straight from your Ticketmaster Account allows us to verify every ticket, cancel the original barcode and issue a new one to the buyer. This guarantees that any ticket purchased on Ticketmaster will get you into the show.

FAQS

What happens if my ticket doesn’t sell?

Any tickets that don’t sell remain yours to use as you wish.

What do resale fees cover?

The fees cover the cost of processing the booking from beginning to end – customer service, technology, payment provider costs, event staffing and more.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, not. Instead, see if you may be able to sell your ticket directly through your Ticketmaster Account. Simply follow the steps above.

Don’t forget, you can also insure your tickets in case something happens which means you can no longer attend.

My event has been cancelled – what happens now?

As soon as the event organizer releases the funds, we’ll automatically refund you (including all per ticket fees) – you don’t need to do a thing. Check your email for a confirmation once the refund is underway and contact us if you have any related questions.

My event has been rescheduled – what happens now?

We’ll email you to let you know if your tickets will be valid for the new date and/or what your options are.

If you’ve bought resale tickets for the rescheduled event, we’ll contact you to let you know what the next steps are.

You can check your event’s status on our Event Status Updates page.
